Skincare Sciences is a youth-started organization that is dedicated to increasing skincare positivity by providing information on how to treat your skin. Founded by Zoe Chan in 2022, our organization has grown into a global initiative, spreading medical information about skin conditions and chemicals found in products while decreasing the negative stigma surrounding skin. We partner with organizations and brands, spreading their story and the science behind their products. 

​Like many, I’ve struggled with my acne and, perhaps to a great extent, my self-consciousness. To combat this, I established Skincare Sciences—an organization dedicated to fighting the stigma on skin conditions—to share my experiences with my acne as well as treatments I explored with my audience. I officially established the Instagram page in 2022 and decided to base our organization's posts using the color green as one of our main values is clean beauty. The organization’s main goal was to embrace #skinpositivity, to ensure that everyone felt comfortable in their skin. I hope this organization serves as an outlet to gain insights into the field of dermatology, while also acknowledging the mental health aspect of skin. We are always open to any collaborations to help us spread our mission!​
